Everything new today!

After a week of struggling, thinking whether or not we should move Chubby Feet to another daycare – today Chubby finally made it to his new school. Needless to say, he is loving it. At first we were planning to stay at least for the morning with Chubby at the new place, just to make sure he is adapting to the new environment, the new teacher and all. Haha but turns out we left in about an hour after dropping him off. As soon as he sees all these new toys, he is already saying bye bye mommy daddy…see you later Alligator =T
Early in the morning, Chubby Feet is already making new friends here.

Chubby Feet @ Ikea

IMG_7622

Last weekend, we went to Ikea to see whats there to buy for Chubby Feet. Its the best place to stroll around for a few hours in between dinner and that boring afternoon. Chubby Feet had fun exploring and *testing* their bed, but of course our bed is much better than Ikea’s even Chubby can tell. We checked out their children’s dept and bought more fluffy toys, this time a 6 piece car set.

Chubby’s 1st camera is a Fisher Price

Every time we go BabiesRus or ToysRus trying to pick a toy for Chubby Feet, we will always be walking down the same isle over and over again. There are just way too many selections, aren’t there? I don’t remember having a hard time picking out what I wanted when I was little. It was just this, this, this, and that….thanks and be done. But now when we try letting Chubby pick what he likes, he grabs every single piece he can reach, then as soon as he sees another one he will forget the previous one. Ok so which one is it, Chubby? However, I must say this time has got to be the easiest. As soon as we walked down that same isle we’ve always been to, this camera caught my attention and right away we know – this is it! HAHA Chubby has to have his own very first camera, just like his daddy. Look at how hes figuring out what his new toy does haha.

Hot pot dinner with the 5-O!

P1060366

A friend from SF came to visit, we had an AYCE hotpot dinner with him. Officer Lam is an old friend, known him since we were little. I still remember a picture of us (when we were maybe around 7 or 8 yrs old?), and he was holding my BB gun. Twenty some years later, he is now holding a real gun. I remember I was holding a F1 formula race car in that same picture, but how come I am not a F1 racer now? =P

I wonder what Chubby Feet will become when he grows up.

BBBBBBaaBa~!

Chubby Feet learning his words.

Paper fun ~!

How would you like to entertain your baby with just a piece of paper? In Chubby’s case, a piece of paper goes a long way. He loves tearing up magazines. He loves having with a piece of paper in his hands so he can twist it, squeeze it, or tear it. It always keep him busy when he fusses, all we had to do is find a piece of paper and put it in his hands. And of course, he loves  a little paper dance show too =)

Mr. Teething says no to the bottles

We knew something was different, Chubby Feet hasn’t been himself for the past week. He was a little fussy, and didn’t quite want his milk. We wondered why, until one day we gave him some water and he wanted it so much in a regular cup. We figured he must be having hard time sucking on his bottle with the sore gum, so we tried feeding him with his formula in a cup and just let him sip. Last night, he was really crying out loud, so loud we could feel his pain. Those rabbits have been hiding out for so long, its about time they show themselves already – come on out! Chubby was in such pain he rolled over and over on the bed and just couldn’t fall asleep. We had to do something, we tried rubbing his gum with the oralgel and it was just a mess. Finally we had to give him some baby Tylenol to ease the pain away, and he could finally fall asleep. Poor Chubby, that explains why he didn’t want his bottles.

We love ramen

Mommie was craving for some ramen so we went to Orochon Ramen in Little Tokyo last Saturday. A little FYI, Orochon Ramen is famous for its spicy ramen.  Man vs Food Adam has stopped by this place to face the Spicy Ramen challenge last year.  Not sure how this happened, but I’ve been craving for some spicy food almost every weekend since I had Chubby Feet.  I was never a “spicy” person before giving birth.  Chubby Feet totally changes my taste bud.  Of course I couldn’t take the famous #2 challenge but I did ended up with a spicy ramen!

P1060301

Just another regular Saturday morning, mommie wakes chubby feet up at 6:15am for his breakfast.  Usually he’ll just fall right back to sleep.  This morning, the King decided to hide underneath daddy’s pillow.  When he woke up, he hair was a funny mess with some puffy eyes too!
