Chubby’s first magical experience at 18 months. It was daddy’s birthday, and daddy has nothing more to ask for but a happy healthy family. Hence we all went to the happiest place on earth, the Disneyland! Daddy’s first trip ever to Disneyland was at age 7 @ Tokyo Disney, and mommie at 5. Chubby beat us all at 1.5 yrs old. It might seem too early for Chubby to even know what magic Disneyland can bring upon us, but this definitely was a great experience and memory for us all and at least it made it onto this blog for Chubby.

We haven’t been writing much on Chubby’s milestone as there are really no specific dates to when he did something that significantly shows a big leap such as from crawling to standing, and then to walking. However, there are a few things that Chubby has been doing for quite some time now, for example, sprinting and climbing, and jumping off his little stool >_< There are also things that he will do when we ask him to, such as waving “bye bye” or “hi”. Both action is the same, involving raising his hand and then opening and closing his fingers as if he was squeezing something in his palm. He now clearly understands the word/action “bye” is associated with things that will be disappearing or something he will be walking away from. He waves bye to his teachers when daddy picks him up from school, he waves bye to the toys when we are exiting the store, he waves bye to the  fishes in the fish tank as we exit the restaurant, etc, etc. He also randomly waves at other kids as in saying “hi”.

Grandma came to visit last week. Though it was only a short 3 days, Chubby had a lot of fun spending time with grandma and her BFF of 50+ years. Grandma came to attend a wedding of her nephew in San Francisco, then came down to LA with her BFF to see little Chubster. Daddy’s plan was to let grandma experience the unstoppable Chubzilla power =)

“It’s just for the experience, I think its okay. We should at least let him try?”, said mommie. A few weeks ago, mommie saw a casting call from American Apparel. She sent in a few pictures of Chubby and was just joking, haha what if he really got called in? Well, here we are. A few weeks ago, we got an email from AA requesting an appearance for the casting at their HQ in LA downtown.

Find this picture funny, they were both pointing at the sky but there wasn’t fireworks during the day. This was Chubby’s second July 4th celebrating the pretty stuffs blowing up in the sky =P Lets just hope he won’t get too scared of the explosions!

Come to think about it ChuckECheese has been around for ages, this is not only the first time for Chubby but also for us. Not somewhere we would normally walk in before having Chubby, here we marked our first. Move over, Batman is in the house! Everywhere he goes, he got called Batman haha. Now excuse me, I need a ride.
