Chubby 2nd Asia trip – Macau Part I

Chubby getting ready for his 2nd trip to Asia. Last time he went was a year ago, in the month of Feb. It was definitely a lot colder last year, let’s hope Chubby won’t give us too much trouble this time (now that he can walk….and run >_<)
At the LAX checking in. Eating chips while waiting by the gate, and mommie captured the perfect moment LOL

Daddy tried to go cheap this time haha =P We didn’t fly Business Class this time, but rather the Premium Econ which goes right behind the Business Class. Still has a lot of leg room….but the seats……Daddy wanted to upgrade at the last minute, but at the check in, they said the only thing they could not upgrade us was Chubby’s meal. They could not get a B-class kid’s meal in time for the flight, and they can not serve E-class meals in B-Class…..and we couldn’t even cancel the meals…..how disappointing! Lesson learned – call to cancel the kids meal on our way back.

The seats could only recline so much…..daddy mommie having a hard time sleeping, while Chubby just went ZzzzzzzzzzZZzz.

Some twelve hours later, we arrived Haneda airport, Japan @ 5:30am.

We spent a few hours in Japan, going from Haneda to Narita, then we are off to Macau.

First night dinner with Por Por (mommie’s mother), just in time to celebrate for her birthday. Super yummy suckling pig!!!

A day with Por Por and Gon Gon, another day with MaMa and Yea Yea. Chubby is getting spoiled!

Guess MaMa didn’t realized how active Chubby is now compared to a year ago, Chubby missed those two steps and felt a couple times. Mama decided to tape it with some yellow stripes! Cautious Chubby!!

And MaMa decided to put even more….haha

MaMa walking Chubby to the steps and making sure he sees it. Seems working very well, good job MaMa.

Tonight’s dinner celebrating MaMa’s birthday (yes Por Por and MaMa’s birthday is only a day apart, how convenient)

Once back home, Chubby shows MaMa and YeaYea and monstrous power – run, jump, and destroy!!

YeaYea showing Chubby his property! YeaYea bought Chubby an apartment, so spoiled.

Once he knows that’s his keys…..he doesn’t want to let go of it.

…..and he kept repeating “Keys? Mine?”…..and we had to chase him down to get the keys back haha.

Today’s lunch menu – pan fried Foie Gras with beans, goose intestines was super good, and the roasted goose as well! All daddy’s favorite =)

Working! =)

It’s time to get YeaYea busy haha

This time Chubby did not break any of these decos……YeaYea must have gone “phew!” LOL

Today we visited great grandma (Mommie’s grandmother), she lives on a high-rise alright. Chubby got scared of the height =P

On our way to pick up GonGon’s car, we came back to this same place. This kiddie-rides are still there!!

At Macau’s ToysRus

New toys!

A truck, with built in compartments for more cars.

All mommie’s loved ones.

Tonight we are having a buffet dinner at the Macau Tower, a revolving restaurant with awesome view.

Thank God for iPad….and Dino Dan LOL

Early morning breakfast…Macau pork chop bun, egg doll-noodles.

Then we are off to Hong Kong, just for a few hours, to pick up our checks from the Government. They are giving out HKD6,000 to all those who hold HK ID. Thank you HK Gov! We all love painless shopping =)

Did a little walking around the busy “women-street”, while Chubby is staying with PorPor and GonGon.

Chubby dropped the iPad on cement floor and the screen went “BLEEEP”. Luckily there’s an Apple store in HK, so we went and have it exchanged from Chubby.

Riding the ferry back to Macau, we missed Chubby.

Tonight’s dinner, some fish intestine, and worms.

Yum! a nice close up…..!!!

At PorPor and GonGon’s house, we stayed here for a few days. PorPor has this awesome Osim massage chair, daddy wants one too.

PorPor gave us a full size bed in on of the rooms, after the first night – we decided to sleep on the floor instead! LOL, with Chubby sleeping in the middle, we really need a King size bed…..so we got two mattress and just set them in the living room haha….much better =)

No cravings for these Portugese Tarts this time, walk right pass it.

This durian flavor jelly are so super duper awesome! Daddy loved loved loved it.

As translated – Cat’s poop coffee. The famous Cat’s poop coffee yes. USD30 a small cup.
